So, the most important individual factor in optimizing your WordPress blog for search engines is writing content which is both appealing to your readers and contains a healthy balance of the keywords and phrases your blog targets.

Appealing content will always draw more visitors than bland or generic. Many sites use a cut-and-paste method for compiling tons and tons of content, but the search engines see this and such sites are penalized.

Make your content original and worth reading, and you’ll surely be more successful in the long run.

As far as keywords, it’s not necessary or an advantage to incorporate a keyword every other word, but in order to gain exposure in search engine results, I’d say you should make an attempt to include your keywords as often as possible without negatively affecting how your entry reads. Other sites may suggest 5-7 percent keyword saturation, but honestly, it’s difficult to say exactly what this is based upon. If you can compose your entries to be well-versed and still keyword-rich, you’ll be in a good spot with your site’s SEO.
